The body will arrive in Norfolk tomorrow morning and funeral arrangements will then be completed. Mrs. Lawless received news of her husband's death last night and today is surrounded by sympathetic friends and neighbors. She had a letter from Mr. Lawless yesterday morning and was expecting to see him soon. From what could be learned of the death of Mr. Lawless he fell from a scaffolding at the Western Maryland Railway Company's pier at Port Covington, where he was at work as a steel structural worker. He was engaged in boring holes in a steel column, it is said, when he lost his balance and plunged from the high platform to the water below, striking his head on a piling of the pier. Frank Lawless was 39 years old and a member of the sheet metal workers. He was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Norfolk Aerie Fraternal Order of Eagles. Besides his wife Mr. Lawless is survived by twin sons, Frank and John, four years old; five brothers, M.D. Lawless, of Baltimore; P.A., with the British Tobacco Co., in Europe; John W., of Lynchburg; J.J., of Cradock and C.A. of the U.S.N. and four sisters, Mrs. B.A. Holland, of Portsmouth; Mrs. T.B. McCarty, of Roanoke; Mrs. I.R. Rucker, of Lynchburg and Mrs. W.I. Manning, of Baltimore. Mr. Lawless left Norfolk for Baltimore about two weeks ago and secured employment as a metal worker. Mrs. Lawless said today she had heard from him every other day since he left and that he was getting along well. ***************************************************************************** LAWLESS, FRANK E. - At Baltimore, Md., Thursday, August 11, 1921, at noon, FRANK E. LAWLESS, in the 40th year of his age. Remains will be taken from the residence, 1111 Holt street, to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for funeral services MONDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
