Virginian-Pilot January 14, 1940
Mrs. Anna Wiersdorf Lawrence. Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence, widow of Charles 
Augustus Lawrence and daughter of the late Friederika Wilhelm and Mrs. Friederika 
Dorothea Schulz Wiersdorf, who died Friday at the residence, 738 Westover avenue, 
were held privately yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the chapel of the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, with the Rev. B. M. Persinger, 
D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, officiating. There were a number of 
floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies and fern. 
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Undertaker's assistants served as pallbearers.
