Norfolk Virginian January 22, 1895

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. M. Lawrence had the misfortune to lose their 22 month old son, 
Herbert Melville, yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock. The funeral will take place 
this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence on Clifton Street.

The funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Lawrence's little son, Herbert Melville, took 
place yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from their residence on Clifton Street 
and was largely attended.  Interment was made in Magnolia Cemetery.
