Virginian-Pilot June 26, 1940
Frank Gordon Lawrence, aged 27 years, son of David B. and Mrs. Annie May 
Lawrence, a native and life-long resident of Norfolk, died in Richmond Monday 
night at 11 o’clock. Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Ocean View Lions Club, of 
Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and was former president of the Catholic Students 
Mission Crusade of Virginia. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, 
Misses Madeline E. and Marjorie E. Lawrence; two brothers, David B., Jr., and 
Kenneth S. Lawrence, all of Norfolk. He resided at 728 Atwood avenue, Ocean 
View.
Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for services this morning 
at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
