Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 29, 1998 
Garland Laws , 76, of the 3300 block of Loam St., died Oct. 22, 1998, in Sentara
Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Fayetteville, N.C., and was retired
from Norfolk Shipyard (NORSHIPCO).

Mr. Laws leaves his wife, Dorothy B. Laws; and a host of stepchildren.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk.
