He was 36 years old. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence of his parents, 1516 Lafayette boulevard, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Surviving, besides his parents, are his wife, Mrs. Agnes Gallagher Lawson; one son, William Denton Lawson; four sisters, Mrs. Robert White, of Hilton Village, Mrs. Frank Margiotta, Mrs. Harry C. Gornto, Jr., and Mrs. Theresa Smith and two brothers, Olaf and Alton Lawson. Mr. Lawson was a native of Norfolk. At the time of his death he was construction foreman for the Brooke Construction Company and was engaged on the work of widening the Portsmouth-Suffolk highway from Magnolia to Alexanders.
