Mary Tocce Lawson, 88, died Aug. 12, 1996, in a Virginia Beach Hospital. Mrs. 
Lawson was a native of Norfolk, Va.

Survivors include her husband, G. Carlyle Lawson; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth 
Coleman; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Reece Lawson, all of Virginia Beach; and five 
grandchildren, Lisa and Stephen Lawson, Sharon Coffman, Eric Christopher Coleman 
and Cathy Michelle Coleman. She was preceded in death by a son, George Lawson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery by Father John J. Dorgan. Memorial donations may be made to the 
American Cancer Society. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, are handling 
arrangements.
