Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 3, 1990 
John Earl Leary, of the 900 block of Fremont St., a retired machine operator,
died Oct. 1, 1990, in his home.

Mr. Leary, a native of Windsor, N.C., had retired from Southland Industries
after 30 years. He was the widower of Daisy B. Leary. He was a member of
Laborers International Union.

Survivors include two daughters, Geneva Pough and Rosa L. Lynch, and a son, John
E. Leary, all of Jamaica, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Riddick Funeral Service by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2
to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may join the famiy at the
residence.
