Norfolk Virginian Pilot Sunday, December 5, 1948
William Lee, 72, died at his residence, 235 Westover Avenue, yesterday at 
12:25 a.m.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Gladys Brown Lee, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Audrey Lee Burke, of Dorton, Ky.; three sons, William Lee, Jr. and Robert E. 
Lee, both of Norfolk, and Pfc. Henry W. Lee, USA, and a granddaughter.
Mr. Lee was a native of Moyock, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk for 
60 years.  He was a member of the Norfolk-Portsmouth Typographical Union No. 
32 for 45 years.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
