The Virginian Pilot Monday November 3, 1969
Mrs. Harriet (Louise) Bridges Lee, 70, of 714 Sparrow Road died in a Norfolk 
hospital Sunday at 7:55 a.m.
A native of Elrod, N.C., she lived in the Norfolk-Chesapeake area 50 years.
She was the widow of Robert Houghton Lee Sr. and a daughter of John and Mrs. 
Harriet Collier Bridges.
She was a member of Elizabeth River Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jane Lee Williams of Chesapeake; two 
sons, Robert H. Lee Jr. of Middleburg, and Clifton Bridges Lee of Virginia 
Beach; two brothers, George A. Bridges of Beltsville, Md. and Collier 
Bridges of Portsmouth; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. 
by the Rev. John D. Seward of Elizabeth River Baptist Church.  Burial will 
be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Clifton B. Lee of E. Admiral Drive, 
Virginia Beach.
