Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 9,1957

Mrs. Laura Lee, 677 Goff street, died October 18 in a local hospital at 8:45 
p.m. at the age of 61.

She was a native of Pennsylvania and the wife of the late Ben Lee.  She was 
a housewife and had lived in Norfolk for forty years.

She is survived by one cousin and a host of other relatives and friends.  
Funeral services were held October 27 at 2 p.m. from Morning Glory Funeral 
Chapel.  Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter, pastor of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 
officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Morning Glory Funeral Home had 
charge of the arrangements.
