The body is expected to arrive in Norfolk tonight at 7:30 o'clock, on the Norfolk and Western train. While Mr. Lee had been sick for some tine, his sudden death will be a distinct shock to his friends in Norfolk. ************************************************************** William Lee, of 138 South Reservoir avenue, Norfolk, died at Tip Top, Va., Tuesday, where accompanied by his wife, he went ten days ago to recuperate his health. He had been sick for a month. The deceased was an engineer and had been in the employ of the Norfolk and Western Railroad for thirty years. Besides a wife he is survived by four children, Robert Lee and Misses Ethel, Elsie and Blanche Lee. The remains arrived here last night over the Norfolk and Western Railroad. Virginian Pilot Thursday July 6, 1911 The funeral of William L. Lee was held from his late residence, 138 South Reservoir avenue at 11 o'clock a.m. yesterday and was largely attended, including delegations from the Fraternal Americans, Brotherhood of Engineers, Odd Fellows and Red Men, of which organizations the deceased was a member. The service was conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson, of the Park Avenue Baptist Church. The floral tributes were very handsome, among them a wreath from the Engineers and a pillow from the Fraternal Americans. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: Engineers - C.F. Crowder and J.E. Henley Harmony Lodge Odd Fellows - J.J. Thompson Wyanotte Tribe Red Men - D. Byrd Fraternal Americans - R.G. Williams Citizens - T.R.
