Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 23, 1940
Miss Anne Belle Lee, native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at her 
residence, 210 West Thirteenth street, last night at 9:30 o'clock, after a long 
illness.  She was a daughter of the late John W. and Mary Frances James Lee and 
is survived by a brother, Nathaniel F. Lee, two sisters, Mrs. Lionel Barton and 
Mrs. Bessie Lee Jones, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, pending funeral arrangements.

Miss Anne James Lee - Funeral services for Miss Lee, daughter of the late John 
W. and Mrs. Mary Fannie James Lee, whose death occurred Monday night at the 
residence, 210 West Thirteenth street, will be held at the chapel of the H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial avenue, this morning at 11 o'clock, 
with the Rev. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church, 
officiating.  Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
