The Virginian-Pilot, Friday, February 24, 1978

NORFOLK - Mrs. Esther Lee of 3900 Llewellyn Ave., the widow of George W. Lee Sr. 
and a native of Winton, N.C., died Wednesday in a hospital.

She was a retired domestic employe and a member of Rising Sun Holiness Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fannie Taylor of Norfolk; three sons, George 
W. Lee Jr. of Washington, James N. Lee of Norfolk, and William H. Lee of 
Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Doris L. Britt of Norfolk; and two brothers, Louis 
Britt and James Britt of Winton.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Rising Sun Holiness Church by the 
Rev. Mrs. Roberta Respass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with graves 
Funeral Home in charge. The family will assemble at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Taylor, of 1151 Ballentine Blvd.
