NORFOLK - Mrs. Lila Franklin Lee of 124 Poplar Ave., Berkley, the widow of John 
H. Lee and a native of Sellers, S.C., died Tuesday in a hospital.

She was a member of New Mt. Zion AME Church and the Macon (N.C.) Order of 
Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosetta F. Sykes of Norfolk; Two sons, James 
Foxworth of Philadelphia and the Rev. Joseph Foxworth of Berkeley, Calif.; a 
brother, Richard Franklin of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-
grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in New Mt. Zion AME Church by the 
Rev. William M. Baxter. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman Funeral 
Home in charge. The body will be in church at 10 a.m. Saturday. The family will 
be at her home.
