Grace Lee, a white woman, the proprietress of a house of ill-fame at No. 148 Wolfe street, who took a large quantity of morphine with suicidal intent Friday night, died at her home about 8:30 o'clock last night. She did not regain consciousness after swallowing the fatal dose, although several doctors put forth every effort to save the unfortunate woman's life. The remains were conveyed to an undertaker's establishment to be prepared for burial.
