Virginian-Pilot June 20, 1965
CHESAPEAKE - Robert Haughton Lee Sr., 79, of 714 Sparrow Road, died in his home 
Friday.
A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Harriett Louise Bridgers Lee and 
a son of Ellroy Clifton and Mrs. Lucy Llewellyn Lee.
He was a member of Eizabeth River Baptist Church and was a retired cigar 
manufacturer.
Surviving, besides his wife, is a daughter, Mrs. Jane Lee Pierce of Chesapeake; 
two sons, Robert Haughton Lee Jr. of Middleburg and Clifton Bridgers Lee of 
Chesapeake; four sisters, Mrs. Gary A. Baillio, Miss Cary Lee and Mrs. L. H. 
Rives of Norfolk and Mrs. Earnest Newell of Baltimore. A brother, Ellroy C. Lee 
of Norfolk; and seven grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Cox Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral 
service today at 3 p.m. by Rev. J. D. Seward of Elizabeth River Baptist Church.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
