A native of Boydton, she was a daughter of the late Moses and Mrs. Mona B. Wooden. She was an usher and a member of Widowed Club of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Addison of Chesapeake; a brother, Moses Wooden of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, by the Rev. M. L. Williams. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
