VIRGINIA BEACH - Joseph Jacob Lee Jr. lost his battle with cancer Nov. 26, 2006. 
Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had retired from Shoffner Enterprises 
after 40 years. He was very devoted to his family.

He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Joseph J. Lee III. He is survived by 
his wife of 51 years, Anne J. Lee; his three daughters, Susan and Mike O'Brien of 
Kentucky, Cheryl and Jim Ivey of Virginia Beach and Tanya and Sam Day of Virginia 
Beach; and his son, Michael E. Lee along with life partner, Matt Slate of Virginia 
Beach; five grandchildren, Ricky and Scott Liverman, Nicholas and Jacob O'Brien 
and Samantha Day.

There will be a graveside burial service at noon Wednesday at St. Mary's Cemetery 
in Norfolk. The Lee family will receive friends at their home after the service. 
Special thanks to the staff of Sentara Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please make 
donations to the American Cancer Society.
