Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan. 21, 1950
Mrs Sallie P. Lee was given final rites on Jan. 15 from First Baptist Church,
Bute street.  The Rev. R. H. Bowling officiated.  She died on Jan. 10. 
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Lavenia Oliver;  a sister, Mrs. Lena Perea;  and
two brothers, George and Tom Peace.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Riddick’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
