John Henry Lee Sr., 89, of the 3800 block of Beach Ave., died June 12, 1990, in a 
hospital.
Mr. Lee , a native of Florence, S.C., had retired from the public works center of 
the Norfolk Naval Base. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maude S. Lee ; four daughters, Doris L. Bossie of 
Virginia Beach, Margaret L. Moore of Las Vegas, Virginia L. Norman of Columbia, 
N.C., and Marian L. Yamamoto of Virginia Beach; three sons, John H. Lee Jr. of 
Chesapeake, Joseph C. Lee of Norfolk and Raymond E. Lee of Chicago, Ill.; a 
sister, Margaret Maser of Peoria, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Blessed Sacrament 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Julian B. Goodman. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
