The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 23, 1935


Miss Lelia R. Lee, daughter of the late Thomas R. and Lelia Reed Lee, died at 
10 o’clock yesterday morning at the residence, 906 Llewellyn Avenue, after a 
lingering illness. Miss Lee was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She 
was a sister of the late Miss Freddie Lee and is survived by a number of nieces 
and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the above residence tomorrow at 
12 o’clock noon, with the Rev. Thomas A. Smoot, D.D., pastor of Epworth M.E. 
Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
