During the time of his illness he went west to seek health several times, but the fountain of youth had fled and he returned home a few months ago, resigned to the inevitable. Before his health gave away to the extent of disabling him for duties, he was a trusted employee of the Tunis Lumber Company, with whom he remained for several years. He was born in Talbot County, Md. and was 34 years of age. He leaves a widow and one child, a mother, Mrs. S.F. Leeke, of Baltimore and a brother, Mr. A.W. Leeke, of Washington, D.C. The funeral will be conducted from Memorial M.E. Church this afternoon at 5 o'clock, Rev W. Asbury Christian, the pastor, officiating and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
