Virginian Pilot October 15, 1960

Leo L. Leger, 72, husband of Mrs. Mary H. Gregson Leger and son of Marcien and 
Mrs. Pauline Morin Leger, died in a local hospital Friday at 8:15 p.m.
A native of Canada he resided in Norfolk 40 years, lately at 236 W. 27th St. He 
was proprietor of Turner Stencil Co. and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite L. Hood of 
Greensboro, N.C. and Mrs. Ruth B. Staylor of Norfolk; one brother, Joseph Leger 
and one sister, Mrs. Napoleon Clement, both of Fall River, Mass.; seven 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

LEGER, LEO LAWRENCE - At a local hospital, Friday, October 14th, 1960, at 8:15 
p.m., LEO LAWRENCE, husband of Mrs. Mary Gregson Leger, and son of the late 
Marcien and Pauline Morin Leger, in the 73rd year of his age. Remains will be 
taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Christ 
the King Catholic Church for services Monday at 9 a.m. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
