Leger, 72, husband of Mrs. Mary H. Gregson Leger and son of Marcien and Mrs. Pauline Morin Leger, died in a local hospital Friday at 8:15 p.m. A native of Canada he resided in Norfolk 40 years, lately at 236 W. 27th St. He was proprietor of Turner Stencil Co. and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite L. Hood of Greensboro, N.C. and Mrs. Ruth B. Staylor of Norfolk; one brother, Joseph Leger and one sister, Mrs. Napoleon Clement, both of Fall River, Mass.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body was taken to H.D. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Christ the King Catholic Church for services Monday at 9 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
