Virginian-Pilot  March 24 & 25, 1965
NORFOLK – Mrs. Mary Gregson Leger, 73, widow of Leo L. Leger and daughter of 
William and Mrs. Margaret Gregson, died in a hospital Tuesday.
She was a native of Fall River, Mass., and lived in this area 50 years. She was 
a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth L. Staylor of Virginia Beach and 
Mrs. Marguerite L. Hood of Greensboro.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

LEGER, MARY GREGSON - At a local hospital, Tuesday, March 23rd, 1965, at 5:40 
p.m., MARY GREGSON, widow of Leo L. Leger, and daughter of the late William and 
Margaret Gregson, in the 74th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. 
D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, for 
services Friday at 10 a.m. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
