DEATHS
Mrs. Fannie Petty Biddle Leggett, widow of James T. Leggett, died at the 
residence, 115 West Princess Anne road, today at 10:20 a.m. She had been a 
resident of Norfolk for the last 54 years. She was a daughter of the late 
Captain Phillip Woodhouse Biddle, of the Confederate States Army, and Mrs. 
Rebecca Etheridge Biddle.
Mrs. Leggett is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Snowden Davis, of Norfolk.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
The body was removed to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, pending completion of funeral arrangements.
DEATHS
Mrs. Fannie Petty Biddle Leggett, widow of James T. Leggett and daughter of the 
late Capt. Phillip Woodhouse Biddle, C.S.A., and Mrs. Rebekah Etheridge Biddle, 
a native of Norfolk County, and a resident of Norfolk 54 years, died yesterday 
morning at 10:20 o'clock at the residence, 115 West Princess Anne road. She is 
survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Snowden Davis, of Norfolk. Mrs. Leggett was 
a sister of the late William E. Biddle, of Princess Anne County.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock with the Rev. Jason L. 
MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which she was a 
member, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
