NORFOLK - Miss Virgie A. Leggett, 87, of 3810 Llewellyn Ave., who taught at Maury 
High School and was also a pupil counselor, died Wednesday in a hospital.
Her school career spanned 40 years. She was a lifelong Norfolk resident.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include five cousins, Vance V. Little, Royal P. Little, Mrs. Thelma L. 
Eley, and Mrs. E. Arthur Zee Jr. of Smithfield. and Mrs. Isabelle Savage of 
Newport News.
A funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church by Dr. Andrew 
R. Bird and the Rev. Richard W. Lovingood. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in charge.
