Sylvia Siegel Legum, 86, of the 600 block of Princess Anne Road, died August 8, 
1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Legum, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Sol Legum. She was a retired 
salesperson from the Naivette Shoppe in Norfolk. She was a member of 
Congregation Beth El, in Norfolk, and was also a member of numerous religious 
and civic organizations.
Survivors include two sons, Bertrum N. Legum and his wife, Joyce Nesson Legum 
of Norfolk, James W. "Jimmy" Legum of Norfolk; a sister, Irene S. Hillman of 
Baltimore, MD; and a grandson, Ross E. Legum of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the B'Nai 
Israel Cemetery by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg and Cantor Jacob Tessler. The family 
will be at 1823 Keswick Drive in Norfolk. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk 
Chapel, is in charge.
