Norfolk Landmark, June 17, 1911
Joseph U. Leiby died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock, at his home, corner of Corprew
Corprew and Chesapeake Avenues, Brambleton, in the 84th year of  his age. He is 
survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Mary McIver, and two sons, Adam and 
Joseph Leiby. He was a native of Pennsylvania, and had resided in Virginia for 
50 years. He was well known and highly esteemed, and had many friends in 
Norfolk who will regret to learn of his death. The funeral occurs at 4 p.m. 
tomorrow. Interment in Elmwood.
