Princess Anne Road, died Feb. 8, 1992, in a hospital. Mrs. Leigh was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Dr. Southgate Leigh Jr. and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Leigh was a board member of the Norfolk Historical Society and was a member of the Colonial Dames, The Hermitage Foundation, Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, the Little Theatre Board and the Junior League. She was also president of the American Red Cross Auxiliary and was a volunteer at the American Red Cross Blood Bank. She was educated at Sweet Briar College. Survivors include three daughters, Winborne L. Hamlin of Dallas, Sarah L. Kinberg of Stockton, Calif., and Dr. Margaret W. Leigh of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two sons, Southgate Leigh III of Norfolk and Benjamin W. Leigh of Chesapeake; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Hugh C. White III. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Leigh Memorial Lecture Fund of Eastern Virginia Medical School. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
