NORFOLK - Mrs. Effie Stroud Lemon, 93, of 126 Forrest Ave., widow of William
Robert Lemon, died Monday in a hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ledoux of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the
Rev. E. A. Roughton.  H. D. Oliver Funeral Home, Norfolk, has charge.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Salem School for
the Deaf, Salem, VA.
