Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Wednesday February 22, 1928
John Avery Le Mosy, aged 65, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at a local 
hospital. He was a native of Portsmouth and had been a resident of Norfolk for 49 
years. Surviving him are one sister, Miss Elsie Le Mosy and one brother, Boyer Le 
Mosy, of Norfolk. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments 610-12 
East Freemason street, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock, the Rev. D.W. Howard, D.D., 
rector of St. Luke's Church, officiating. Interment will be private in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
