Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 30, 1953

John J. Lenny, 84, a native of Delaware County, Pa., died Saturday at the Walter 
Reed Hospital, Washington.
Mr. Lenny was a veteran of the Spanish-American War and the Philippine 
Insurrection. He was a retired attorney and formerly was associated with the 
United States Pension Office.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Lenny Watts and a niece, Mrs. Myer 
Sereanson, both of Marlon, Pa. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments to St. Mary's Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
