Virginian-Pilot April 28, 1955
Mrs. Mabel O’Neill Lenz, 54, wife of George W. Lenz, died at the residence, 3353 
Kimball Terrace yesterday at 7:45 a.m. Besides her husband, she is survived by 
two daughters, Mrs. Helen Lenz Roberts, of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Dorothy Lenz 
Anderson, of Portsmouth; a brother, Daniel O’Neill, of New York, and six 
grandchildren.
Mrs. Lenz was a native of Dublin, Ireland and had been a resident of Norfolk for 
three years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church for funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. The body will be sent to 
New York for burial.

She and her husband are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk, VA.
