Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, October 30, 1993 
Thelma Lester of the 800 block of Charlotte St. died Oct. 28, 1993, in a local
hospital.

Mrs. Lester was born in Norfolk and was a former member of First Calvary Baptist
Church. She was the widow of Horace Lester, Sr.

Survivors include a son, Horace Lester, Jr., of Norfolk; a sister, Geraldine
Moore of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Graves Funeral Chapel by the
Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will
assemble at the residence.
