The services will be conducted by Rev. M. B. Marshall, of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Letcher was a daughter of the late Tazewell Taylor, and her whole life was identified with Norfolk, especially in its social and religious activities. In May 1908 she was married to John D. Letcher, formerly of Lexington VA whose home had for several years been in Norfolk. She was a woman of brilliant mind and charming personality, a lovely character, who made friends wherever she was known, and whose generosity was unbounded.
