Virginian-Pilot, October 17, 1979
NORFOLK - Mrs. Sarah Bloom Levine, 83, of 1826 Longsdale Drive, the widow of 
Lewis Levine and a native of Russia, died Monday in a hospital.
She was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Harris, a son Irving Levine, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Ida Levine and Mrs. Pauline Foote, all of Norfolk; a brother, 
Jack Bloom of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.
A funeral was held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Aps by Rabbi 
Israel Bornstein. Burial was in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
