Mrs. Levy was a native of Russia, but had been a resident of this country thirty-eight years. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mrs. Rebecca Salsbury. Besides her husband, she is survived by these daughters, Misses Rose, Minna, Bertha, Freda, and Ethel Levy, and the following brothers and sisters, Flora, Fannie, Rachel, Moses, Robert, Jacob, and Simon Salsbury. Mrs. Levy was one of the first Hebrew family to locate in Berkley. She was well known and held in high esteem by a host of friends. The funeral service were conducted at the home at 2 o'clock (April 4th), and burial was in the Hebrew cemetery in the county near Berkley.
