Virginian-Pilot  May 2, 1930
Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Levy, aged 55, widow of Charles E. Levy, died at 10:40 
a.m. yesterday at a local hospital. She was a native of Maryland, but had been a 
resident of Norfolk for many years, residing at 227 Chapel street at the time of 
her death. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Surviving her are one 
son, Charles M. Levy, of Norfolk, and four grandchildren. Remains will be taken 
from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to St. 
Mary’s Catholic Church for services tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will 
be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
