H. Lewis lies at St. Vincent’s Hospital with his skull broken and will die. He was the yardmaster of the New York, Philadelphia and Norfolk Railway at Pinner’s Point, and while supervising the shifting of cars in the yard this morning he missed his footing, slipping from the top of one car to another, and fell on a pile of lumber, crushing the frontal bone of his skull. He was found unconscious and sent to the hospital. He has a family at Port Norfolk.
