Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 5, 1993

Irene B. Lewis, of the 1600 block of Vernon Drive, died Nov.3, 1993.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Alabama and was a former school attendant with New 
Calvary Baptist Church, where she was also a former member. She was the 
widow of Alexander Lewis.
Survivors include one daughter, Ethel Rene Parker; one sister, Willie Mae 
Wilson of Chicago; one brother, Jeremiah Roberts of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and 
a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Graves Funeral Home by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may 
join the family at 804 Wide St.
