Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, December 27, 1997 
Richard Percell Lewis of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Dec.
23, 1997, at his residence.

Born in Portsmouth, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean
War and retired after 15 years of service. He was a member and Elder of Faith
Temple C.O.G.I.C.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Lewis; a son, Milton Lewis of Bloomington,
Minn.; a sister, Lorraine Wright of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a grandson, Milton Lewis,
11; two great-grandchildren; an aunt, Janie Gallman; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C., 645 37th
St., Norfolk, by Elder James Williams, pastor, and Deacon Lemuel Williams.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is in charge. Friends
may join the family at the residence.
