Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, January 13, 2000 
Hazel Lewis of the 3000 block of Omohundro Ave. died Jan. 11, 2000, at her
residence.

Born in Buell, Va., she was a daughter of the late Blanche C. and William H.
Edwards and the widow of Archie Lewis. She had retired from the Naval Supply
Center and was a member of First Church of Christ Holiness (USA).

Survivors include a daughter, Bertha L. Anderson of Suitland, Md.; an adopted
daughter, Eloise Bethea of Forestville, Md.; three sisters, Josephine Willingham
and husband, Elbert, of Norfolk, Rosa L. Jamison and husband, DeWitt, of
Richmond, Calif., and Gladys C. Edwards; two grandchildren, Sharon V. Anderson
of Largo, Md., and Robert N. Anderson Jr. and wife, Tracy B., of Clinton, Md.;
two great-grandchildren, Clarissa N. Anderson of Largo and Portia M. Anderson of
Clinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at First Church of Christ Holiness
(USA), Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, by Bishop Lindsey Jones. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery . Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
