PORTSMOUTH - Tracey Michelle Lewis, 41, passed away March 13, 2010.

Born in Fayetteville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Nancy Denning Lewis 
and Ray Edwards Lewis Sr. of Fayetteville. At an early age she moved to Chesapeake 
and later graduated from Oscar Smith High School. She was employed with the law 
firm of R. Clinton Stackhouse Jr. as a case administrator supervisor. Tracey loved 
animals and was involved with the Chesapeake Humane Society and Shar-Pei of 
Virginia Inc.

Besides her father, she is survived by her stepmother, Kathryn Lewis; her second 
father, Jim Gearheart; a brother, Ray E. Lewis Jr.; a sister, Heatherly Lewis; 
aunts, Ann Smith, Linda Wilson and Cathy Lewis; and an uncle, Jimmy Denning.

A funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville 
Road, Chesapeake with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. Online viewing of the
