Funeral services for Emery Lewis who died last Tuesday morning after being
strickened the previous Saturday, were held Sunday at New Hope Christian Church.
The Rev. C. E. Upton officiated and Mrs. Minnie B. Footes sang. The deceased is
survived by his widow, Mrs. Elnora Lewis; and three children. Interment was made
in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fitchett and Bell Funeral Home in charge.
