Mr. Lex, a native of Norfolk, had retired from E.V. Williams Corp. after 20 years. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and the Virginia National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Beryl Edna Moore Lex; a stepson, James F. Windley of Suffolk; and a step-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Matthews Catholic Church by the Rev. Timothy Drake. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p m.
