NORFOLK - Mrs. Sophie Binz Lex, 84, of 1720 Montclair Ave., widow of Jacob Lex and 
daughter of George and Mrs. Ann Binz, died Friday afternoon in her home.
A native of Germany, she lived in Norfolk for 64 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Lex Savedge of Norfolk; two sons, 
George J. Lex of Hampton and John W. Lex of Norfolk; six grandchildren and 16 
great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Monday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
