Virginian-Pilot  November 16, 1958
NORFOLK - Mrs. Leona Virginia Ligart, 37, wife of Joseph L. Ligart, and daughter 
of William and Mrs. Minerva Peoples Sorey, died Saturday at 12:45 p.m. at a 
local hospital. She was a native of Philadelphia, Pa., and a resident of Norfolk 
for 14 years, residing at 1013 Clark St. at the time of her death.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by one son, Roland F. Ligart of 
Norfolk; one daughter, Roxanne Helen Ligart of Norfolk, and several brothers and 
sisters.
The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

NORFOLK - Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Virginia Ligart, who died Saturday, 
will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
