CHESAPEAKE - David w. Lightfoot of 936 Costa Ave., a native of Norfolk and the 
husband of Mrs. Almeda Lightfoot, died Saturday in a hospital.

He retired after 29 years as a clerk from the Postal Service and was a member of 
Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Almeda Claudette Chambers of 
Chesapeake; two brothers, Australia Lightfoot of Norfolk and Robert McKinley of 
New Haven, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Greater Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion 
Church by the Rev. Jackson A. Browne. Burial will be in the family plot in 
Calvary Cemetery. A wake will be held Monday form 7 to 8 p.m. in Hale Funeral 
Home.
