He was a native of Halifax, N.C. and had resided in Fentress for the past 45 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. A.R. Creekmore, of Fentress; a foster daughter, Mrs. Elinor Gobble, of Hampton; a sister, Mrs. Dan Mizelle, of Palmyra, N.C. and three grandchildren. He was a member of Centerville Baptist Church and Doric Lodge No. 44, A.F. & A.M. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
